Traffic Fine Lookup is reference information, not legal advice: every figure is a fine amount, surcharge, point value, or threshold published by a state statute, court fine schedule, or DMV, republished here with its citation and retrieval date. Fine schedules change on legislative cycles, local courts add costs of their own, and the court named on a citation is always the authority on what is owed. The site publishes 50 state pages built from 324 cited primary sources; where state law sets only a ceiling or a local court sets the amount, the page says exactly that instead of inventing a number. Use of the site is at your own risk, provided “as is” without warranty; nothing here creates an attorney-client or any advisory relationship, and no figure should be relied on without confirming it against the cited source or the court handling the matter.

Nature of the information

Reference and educational information only — not legal advice, and not an official government publication. Every figure is an amount printed by a state statute, a court fine schedule, or a DMV publication, republished here with its citation and retrieval date. What is owed on any actual citation is governed by the court named on it — not by this site.

Nothing here is a lawyer. This site cannot tell you what will happen with a citation, and it does not contain advice of any kind. For advice about a real situation, consult a licensed attorney in the relevant state.

Amounts change, and courts add to them

Fine schedules move on legislative cycles; local courts attach costs and fees of their own. Where a figure here is labeled cap only or court-set, that label is the point: state law does not fix the number, and this site does not pretend otherwise.

Accuracy and warranty

Provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. The methodology page documents the sources (324 of them, retrieved 2026-07-17 to 2026-07-17), the certainty taxonomy, and every case where this site refuses to print a number. That is a real effort at accuracy, not a guarantee of it.

The statute, the court's schedule, and the court itself are always the authority. If a figure here disagrees with the source it cites, the source is right and this site has a bug — please report it.

Attribution and reuse

Statutory fine schedules are edicts of government and not subject to copyright. This site's own text, structure, analysis and code are not public domain. Not affiliated with any court, DMV, legislature, or government agency.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Traffic Fine Lookup is not liable for any loss, cost, or decision arising from use of this site or its data. Do not pay, plead, or decide anything on the basis of a figure here without confirming it against the cited source or the court on the citation.

Data: state statutes, judicial-council and court-system fine schedules, and state DMV publications, compiled state by state — every figure carries its citation and every source its retrieval date on the page where it appears. Statutory fine schedules are edicts of government and not subject to copyright. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any court, DMV, or government agency.

© 2026 Traffic Fine Lookup — an independent data project. This site republishes what statutes and court fine schedules print, for reference. It is not legal advice, and it cannot tell you what will happen in your case. Fine amounts change on legislative cycles and local courts add costs of their own. Confirm anything that matters against the cited source or the court on your citation.
